You work hard…

Time to Travel!

Canada is beautiful, but sometimes its refreshing to leave. A trip or vacation should be stress free, make sure you are covered so you can relax properly.

Whether you are leaving or you have family coming to stay with you, Ambroziak & Rao Insurance brokers can help you. We have been insuring trips and people from all over the world!

Leaving the country for a little? You deserve it! But do not forget to cover your self.

Travel insurance covers emergency medical bills you may incur outside of Canada.

Some hospitals can charge up to $5,000 a day!

You will select one of two plans:

  1. Single-Trip Plan which offers coverage from a departure date to a return date.
  2. Multi-trip Plan which covers an unlimited amount of trips per policy year. Each individual trip may only be up to either 15 days or 30 depending on which plan is selected.

You will also have the option to buy an addition coverage called Trip Cancellation & Interruption. As the name states, this will provide coverage of your trip in the event it is suddenly cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

In order to qualify for travel insurance, you will be required to complete a medical questionnaire. If you have an pre-existing medical condition, the insurer may exclude coverage for those specific conditions.

Super Visa Insurance

If you are applying for a Super Visa, you will need $100,000 worth of coverage for one year.

You will have two options to choose from:

  1. No coverage for pre-existing conditions. Only new conditions will be covered on this plan.
  2. Pre-existing condition coverage. This includes a sickness, injury, or medical condition that existed prior to the effective date of the policy.

You will also have the option to choose a deductible ranging from 0-1000. Anything higher is not recommended. Increasing your deductible will lower your yearly premium.

1. Coverage is not available to any individual who:

a. has been diagnosed with a terminal illness;
b. has Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) or Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV);
c. has been prescribed or used home oxygen treatment in the last 12 months;
d. has been diagnosed with or treated for congestive heart failure;
e. has had a major organ transplant (heart, kidney, liver, lung);
f. has received kidney dialysis treatment in the last 12 months.

2. To be eligible for coverage you must:

a. be at least 15 days old;
b. on the effective date, not be insured or eligible for benefits under a Canadian government health insurance plan;
c. be in good health at the time you purchase your policy and on the effective date, and know of no reason why you would attend any medical consultation during the period of coverage.

We also offer monthly payments directly from your credit card.

Tip: When it comes to insuring your loved ones, I always make a point to choose a reputable insurance company who has been around for a long time. There are over 60 companies that offer Super Visa Insurance.
